2011 REUNION - REPORT
The Reunion was held on Saturday 8th October in Winchester
The reunion is officially held between 1200 and 1800 on the second Saturday in October, although it would now seem to start the Friday before at The Bakers Arms 1200 - and ending Sunday - sometime!
The secretary opened the books at 1145 (with only a slight headache this year) and again could have done with being there earlier, as a few members were already at the bar - first pints half gone. Other members and their guests seemed to come in horde’s and by 1330 the hall, restaurant area and bar were quite full, with 91 members + guest’s totalling 130
The blow this year was a bit of a let down as members of the TA Waterloo Band of the Rifles had other engagements and commitments, so only a hand full attended along with a good gaggle of Buglers. The Band members got together and played numerous Marches, High-On-A-Hill and all Regimental Marches. The Buglers under BM Chris Pawson sounded bugle calls to the annoyance of the Bdsm’s -- Well played to you all.
